Bennett Tavar
President/Owner

Mr. Tavar is an original founder and current president of Logical Business Solutions, Inc. He is responsible for monitoring day to day operations of the firm, assisting in marketing to key accounts, long-term strategic planning and corporate development. As President, Mr. Tavar is ultimately responsible for all aspects of Logical Business Systems operations.

Mr. Tavar is currently a board member and Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee for The Jacksonville Bank, a publicly traded community bank based in Jacksonville, Florida.

Bennett is also the current President of the Jacksonville Information Technology Council, a Business Resource Group affiliated with the Greater Regional Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce.

Educational highlights include Economics Major at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and continuing studies in Business Law at the University of Miami and Accounting at Florida Community College at Jacksonville, as well as 25 years of technical experience ranging from IBM System/36 systems to the latest Microsoft Server 2003 technologies.

John Ghegan
Senior Vice President

John Ghegan has extensive experience in sales, marketing and operations for The Financial Services Industry. Some of his career highlights include serving as president and CEO of Professional Insurance Company; president of Pennsylvania Life Insurance Company; senior vice president of marketing for Pennsylvania Life Insurance Company; vice-president of sales for Mutual of Omaha for their Northeast and Southeast regions; vice-president of marketing and sales for St. Paul Life Insurance Company and Western Life Insurance Company.

Since leaving the Financial Services Industry in 1997, John has used his extensive business experience as an entrepreneur, business owner and as a consultant to several emerging, small, and mid- size businesses.

John attended the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, the Stanford University School of Finance, The American College and Waynesburg College. He is a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and has served as a Director on several Non-Profit Boards.

Michael Hamilton
Chief Technology Officer

Michael has over twelve years of hardened IT background serving small to large organizations in a multitude of markets in the public and private sectors. Michael focuses and specializes on the development, management, and design of IT solutions that create competitive IT advantages for companies while increasing their overall business efficiency and effectiveness. Michael delivers a high level of customer service and highly quality solutions to our client.

Michael has degrees from Florida Community College at Jacksonville and ITT Technical Institute in Electronic Engineering Technology. Michael’s designations and certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Professional + Internet, Microsoft Business Solutions Master Certified Great Plains, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Certified Small Business Specialist, Citrix Certified Administrator, Hewlett Packard Accredited System Engineer Proliant Servers / ProCurve Networking, Hewlett Packard Accredited Integration Specialist Proliant Servers / ProCurve Networking, Hewlett Packard Accredited Platform Specialist, APC Certified Design Consultant, Server+ Certified, and A + Certified.

Barbara Kreacic
Service Manager

Barbie has over ten years of experience in the IT industry. She has held many positions utilizing her financial, purchasing, analytical and management skills. Barbie’s experience includes working with state/local government, education, and private sector institutions through the management of IT services, product procurement, and bid processes. Barbie delivers excellent customer service through coordinating schedules, managing the service department, and working directly with clients.

Barbie attended Tompkins- Cortland Community College. She is certified in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 Field Service Implementation. Barbie believes in building strong communities and is a United Way supporter.

Shawn Tannen
Systems Engineer

Shawn has over 10 years of experience in the IT and Quality Control industry. His focus is on evaluating and streamlining business systems for both small and large organizations. Utilizing his knowledge in ISO9000 and TQM practices, he effectively implemented new processes which led to increased levels of quality and production resulting in higher profit levels and efficiencies. In addition to a Quality Control background, Shawn specializes in IT Security Systems, including the design and implementation of security policies, procedures, and practices.

Shawn has degrees from Florida Atlantic University and Miami-Dade Community College in Computer Information Systems. Certifications include Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Industrial Electronics. He is also a member of the American Society for Quality Control.

Robert Castro
Systems Engineer

Robert has more than 10 years experience in hardware support including experience in customer service and Systems Administration. He has served as service manager for Gateway Computers and Lead Technician for CompUSA in Miami, Fl. Currently, Robert provides Tier I support remotely to clients using a proprietary software management application.

His certifications include Microsoft’s MCP in Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server, A+, Compaq’s ACT, and Hewlett Packard’s Certified LaserJet Technician. He is currently in the process of becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
